My idea is a web 2.0 site about skateboarding spots. Not skateparks. People will be able to find skate spots and those who make an account will be able to add skate spots that they find, add videos, pictures of that spot and of them skating that spot.
I want to use the google api to map out the spot. Also I want to have icons that tells some one who searches that spot what the spot has. I want to have a rating system and let people submit information on that spot like “look out for cops, gangs, drugs.”
From millions of google searches I found a site that was like mine but not targeting the same thing: http://skatespotter.com/home.html. They are just listing skateparks and people are putting whatever video..I yet to make an account. Ill see how that goes. O and it doesnt have that many places yet. I know of three parks in dallas and when I searched for dallas it had nothing lol.
I couldn’t find articles so I’m not sure how to the article research . I do know what I want and what I need. O andALex make a skate game for me while your making yours so I can beat the game facebook.
I would actually like to have like featured skater and be able to interview someone one month or something. Have like skate spot or skate Video of the month. I would really like it to be an on going and always growing site.
I wanted to do something drew mentioned.Someone takes a pic or video and emails and it shows up in there account.how hard is that? lol just another idea
